Charleston FRIENDS of the Library is dedicated to supporting our local library and promoting literacy within our community. We are committed to funding programs at the 18 branches of the Charleston County Library that enrich the lives of our neighbors and raising awareness of the crucial role literacy plays in our community.
We believe that everyone should have access to books, regardless of their background or financial situation. That’s why we donate books to under served communities and work to create a more equitable literary landscape. Join us in our mission to make reading accessible to all.
